Every road trip, he would just hand me a candy that I never seen before. Like, I never, whether it be some gummies, some hard candy, it was like to a point where I'm like, where are you getting these? Like, I'm a candy guy too, but I don't, I've never seen these flavors. I've never seen these bags. And it sucks because I can't even tell you the like the brand of candy. It was just every time he like, we sit right next to each other, he'll be like, here you go, I see. I'm like, some candy that I'd never seen. So it was just, it was super dope because, and I remember one time he gave me some candy, he's like, you can always go to a local CVS, they'll be in the back of the store. I remember going that we played the, We play the Washington Wizards one time. And we're, I think he's available, but I'm still hurt at the time. Yeah. And we go, me and him, we go to CVS across the street. This is me and D. Rose. We go to CVS and he points out the candy like this is where I go to get some of my, my little stash of candy. So he's got the spots in the every city.

He got the spots.

He got the bag of can.

He got the backpack full of just pulling out different candies at all times.

Yeah. Welcome back to point game, today's show. We are talking about, you know, the trade stuff again.

Yonis and Jha, they're both hurt going to the trade deadline, but is that going to affect things? We're going to talk about it for a little bit. We've been talking about it a lot in the past few weeks. But of course, we're going to talk about Dee Rose, who easily one of my favorite players in the last 20 years. I know IT, you shared a lot of great memories and probably had some battles with him and some stories to share. And then we're also going to talk about some funny and sort of off the wall moments have been happening in the NBA in the last week or so. But IT, how you feeling, man? You escaped the Seattle weather. I know you're in L.A. right now. How are you feeling? I'm feeling good, man. You know, I've been in some crazy weather the last few days. I was in Denver this weekend. Oh, man. My youngest son had a basketball tournament.

So that, it was like seven, eight degrees. It started snowing yesterday. Then I went back home.

I had to drop the family off. That weather is just, at least it's dry, but it's cold and it's not rainy. And then obviously getting to LA is always a good time having some sun and some warm weather. So I've been getting some little miles on my airplane stuff. I'm in L.A. I'm ready to, you know, talk hoop. Have a good little conversation about some basketball. Yeah, man. I'm in Indianapolis right now for some of you guys who know that. And we are snowed in. Got some cabin fever here. And I'm watching some hoop. And that's what's keeping me saying. I've been playing basketball with my son inside. His rules are crazy as a three and a half of a little. I'll tell you that much. He's an all-time offense. Like, what are you talking about? Oh, so you're a defender. Oh, yeah, you're working on my defense. You're three in defense. He got you already on that. It's all good. So it's good to talk to a different person aside from

my family. But let's get into the news here. So we've been talking about it. Janus and Jha both hurt,

not, you know, going into the trade deadline, but they were already two superstars that we had

our eyes on coming up in this trade deadline. To me, and I would love to hear your thoughts and then we can move on, but to me, this is just like, it's almost, it's the nail and the coffin with their time with their teams right now. Something's got to give. Something's got to happen. I don't feel like, you know, of course, these injuries happen at a bad time, but I think the teams that want them,

this is your chance to go for, and we just need to get this done. What are you thinking about both those guys? I think more so with the John Morant situation, I think it's a time for a change of scenery. Yeah. I don't know if it's going to happen. I think if one of those guys get trained, it would be a domino effect for the rest of the league.

Like, that's a tough one. If you've listened to his post game interviews, you can just tell the energy is not there.

Last couple games, I think he got, I think last game before he got hurt, he had eight shots.

The game before that he had, he mentioned something about, I don't know how I'm not getting attempts up.

So it's like if you follow that dialogue, you see that there is tension in the locker

room. There's tension on that team on both teams. I think a change of scenery would be great,

but again, you got two superstar guys that if you do trade those guys, you got to get a lot

back. You got to be able to protect your future
