College Football Recruiting analyst Tom Loy. We're here to discuss Snowdames' Big Junior Day this

past weekend. A number of

big-time recruits were on campus, including several five-star prospects. But we're going to start

with three-star running back Lathen Wissenton out of Waco, Texas, who committed to the Fighting Irish

last night. Tom, how did Nordame get this one done so quickly after the visit?

It's the Jawan cider effect, man.

He essentially gets who he wants, and he's proven that in the past,

and it doesn't hurt when you have at one time a Heisman favorite in your backfield,

and it's incredible what he's done with Judarian Price and all of these guys and Jeremiah Love. I mean, it's a special group in that backfield. So guys want to be a part of it. So Lathen-Wisinton is a guy that we had 24-7 sports like a lot. We had him in our Navy on the American Bowl last year. And he's a guy that I feel like it's funny that people look and say oh he's a three star

people don't like him that much which I think is it's ridiculous like he's right on the cusp

of of that top 247 and that fourth star and he's a guy who's been super productive at the high

school level he's got a great offer list he's a great kid and he was a major major priority

for juan sider Marcus freeman mike denbrock and the rest of the guys in South Bend. So in the end, this is kind of how it works out. You visit Notre Dame, you kind of get that feel. I mean, you guys get it. You know it. You feel it right away once you get on campus. And then a lot of guys do not waste much time so um this was a really nice

get he's going to be part of a two-man class and and this is a kid that that i'm excited about

you turn on the tape he's a guy who struggles to get tackled he does not go down on first contact

i mean he's a guy that our national analyst gay brooks he put he put the scouting report on

wizantin's profile 24-7 sports He was raving about him. So really, really nice gift for Notre Dame. And Eric, sorry, what are your thoughts on Winsenton? I know Tom just touched on as well. And what does this do for Notre Dame's two-man running back class? yeah i mean mean, it's an interesting take for, like you said, the two-man dynamic because obviously there's quite a few targets on the board and there was, what, 3 20-27 running backs there just this weekend. So obviously they're taking a pretty big swing above the total amount of takes here at this point. But taking Wizzinson this early, I mean, he's he's a guy who, as Tom said,

is exceptionally talented despite the ranking. And there's kind of two things that I go to.

If you look at his 2447 profile, they actually have him cited for a 10-5-4, or yeah, 10-4-100 meter from

earlier this year. Obviously, that's elite track speed. And then you look at his production
