Eric Thomas on the recruiting, B covering Notre Dame. We're going to talk a kind of a range of topics here.

We're going to dig into a few 2025

class-related topics that kind of stuck out to us in recent weeks and sort of through the

tail end of spring camp. And we're also going to dive into some of the 2026 recruits that have

been standing out to us, among other things.

So Eric, we earlier this week talked about the Dallas Golden recruiting win, which was obviously major, I think, for if you just were to sort of pull Notre Dame fans who kind of follow

recruiting, say like a month ago, who their number one want is,

I think many would have said Dallas goal. And so it had been a bit of a lull from the commitment standpoint

in terms of not a lot of these like flashy wins happening, but that one popped up. I'm sure

many Notre Dame fans listening. Certainly I agree with the excitement around

that. Now, at the top of the class, we're talking about another player from Florida and Ivan Taylor

safety ranks right around the 40 overall range. If you sort of average it out between the composite and 24-7, and then, of course,

there's Deuce Knight, big-time quarterback, even more excitement around him after some of his

sort of freaky scores and throws, frankly, at Elite 11 not long ago.

Deuce obviously is being pursued heavily by Alabama and Ole Miss.

Alabama's Alabama,

whether Nick Saban is there or not.

Of course, he lives in Mississippi.

It's a nearby program.

And then, of course,

you have Ole Miss,
