We recently spent a whole day talking property with a couple of hundred people who attended our Discovery Day. Time and time again we are reminded that people don't know much - or even anything - about our other businesses, RMP Property and Yellow Lettings, and it was great to meet and share information with many of you. Watch this space for future Discovery Day dates... This week we're looking at mindset, and how biases can lead you down a certain path which could result in decisions which are not optimal for your property investments. We discuss how to be aware of these biases, backed up with plenty of examples, and provide very actionable ways to fix them. 0:17.0	Yes, welcome to the property podcast. This is episode 225. I am Rob D with Rob B of course.
0:30.0	And as well as all the normal goodies that you're going to get in any episode of the

0:37.0	So you can think a lot about tactics like where to buy and whether houses or flats are best, and

0:42.4	And you can talk about numbers and
0:43.7	calculations and we do but all of that counts for nothing if you don't have your
0:48.0	mindset right so that is what we're going to get into in just a moment but first Rob a couple of weeks back we spent our
0:53.8	Saturday with a couple hundred people who definitely had the right
0:56.5	mindset. Well yes that's right we had our Discovery Day our open day so as we've
1:01.7	said before Rob and I rarely talk about our businesses. In fact, when we surveyed you, 40% of you,
1:08.0	or think even more, didn't actually know we had them or else we did. So we put it right by having a discovery day where people came along to find
1:14.6	out more about R&P property and how it can help people on their investment journey and
1:18.7	yellow letting and how yellow makes it easier for people to be landlords by managing their properties.
1:24.4	So it was a great day, it was really nice to meet so many people.
1:27.1	Of course there was plenty of education packed in as well.
1:30.0	We did morning sessions and afternoon sessions, so by the time it got home I wasn't very
1:34.3	chatty with my wife Rob but don't know about you but I was a bit talked out.
1:38.1	But it was a great day.
