HMOs Rob has that brought you out in a cold sweat yet?

It sounds like a lot of work.

I'm nervous Rob. I've got to admit I'm nervous. I don't like work.

I don't think that's quite true but HMOs are something that we've covered it on the podcast before but given how popular they are

probably haven't covered them quite as much as we could or should have done so we're

going to be putting that right today also we've got a resource of the week of course but more than that we've got a resource of the week of course, but more than that, we've got a good news story for landlords.

I can't believe, I can't, I don't think I'm mentally prepared for it just yet.

It's only taking 170 episodes to find a good news story. I know but we found one we got there we got there but we'll come to that in a minute I feel like I need to warm up for a second first

So I do just Rob we I do like work actually love work but and we've

been doing a lot of it we've both been interviewing the several positions

were hiring right now and I've got to say I think our systems and we're talking

about hacks maybe we'll have to do an episode on recruitment in the future but I think

I'm not saying we're perfect but we're getting pretty good the amount of of hiring we should be. Yeah we should.

I've, I didn't tell you this before we hit record but I've actually made my hire now. I've been hiring for a PA for probably about a month now. It's taken to actually

go through the entire process, but I finally made the offer just a couple of days ago and she

accepted and we'll be starting next week so I'm very very happy and that's a that was

We always get a lot of applications for the roles that we that we advertise because I like to think it's because we because we're exciting fast-growing companies and we put across the opportunity in a more interesting way than most recruiters do.

And I had over 260 applications for the role that I advertised, but managed to filter it

down using our systems down to about a final five before I had to start actually speaking to people and doing the interviews

myself and those final five are all fantastic so I think our systems are working.
