Summary

Luke Aikins is a skydiver that is known to the masses as the guy who jumped out of a plane at 25,000 feet without a parachute and lived to tell the story.  That is only part of his story.  From personal tragedy to finding the dream sponsor that enabled him to have a career, Luke has always defied the "adrenaline junky" stereotype thrust upon skydivers of his caliber.  On the podcast, we talk about some incredible projects that he's been a part of and the one he's currently planning, which will be one of the most insane stunts of all time.

my wife and I up to go see Ament and crew put on an amazing show, and while I've seen a lot of

bands in my time, man, those dudes can play. So that was Wednesday. Friday and Saturday I hosted

obliteride and was blown away with how impactful this event is. Over 2,000 riders and walkers came

together to raise over $2 million for cancer research, and it was a pretty awesome, long, long

Saturday for me. I finally get home after Obiteride and the sub pop event is going on.

It's their 30-year anniversary show on Al-Kai Beach. I thought it was going to be a total shit show because

Al-Qa usually has about 10 to 15,000 people down on a busy weekend. They were anticipating 60,000

people. And man, those guys crushed it. They delivered, and it was an

all-time event for Seattle Music and Al-Qaeda Beach. This all takes me to today, and my guest, Luke

Aitkins. Luke is part of the Red Bull Air Force and is known globally as the dude that jumped into a net
