Summary

Branden Steineckert was a founding member of The Used and the driving force behind the band until they kicked him out for being sober in 2006. While that could crush a man, Branden dove onto wakeboarding for a couple of months and came out the other side as the drummer for Rancid, which has been his job for the past 15 years. While that’s worthy of its own podcast, we spend a lot of time talking about his heavy childhood in Utah and using skateboarding as an escape.
