Summary

Alexi Godbout was born to ski instructor parents and was on his way to a pro skier future from a young age. He did the standard, started with ski racing, graduated to moguls, and then got his master's in park skiing. He went from local kid, following new school legend Philou Poirier, to a pro Salomon contract at 14 and a 20+ year pro ski career that, after years of podiums, shifted to the big mountains where he makes his “Blank Collective” films today. 0:17.1	I'm your host, Mike Powell, and last week I let you know that my wife, Ange, was having a very important pet scan.
0:23.9	And this week, I'm going to let you know the results.
0:26.4	They weren't great and they weren't terrible.
0:28.8	The scan does show new tumor growth in a couple of lymph nodes.
0:32.4	But Ange is also seeing some shrinkage in some of those lymph node tumors.
0:36.3	What does this mean?
0:38.6	Well, the shrinkage could be from the radiation treatment that Ange had six months ago. And that's great. It worked a
0:43.5	little bit. But the growth means that the chemo isn't working like we need it to. The positive news
0:48.8	is that this new growth has bumped Ange into a category where she now checks all the boxes to be included in a
0:55.0	new study that launches in January. If all goes as planned, Anne will be patient number one in a
1:00.7	study called Stingray. So that's exciting, and hopefully this trial works, it cures her cancer,
1:06.9	and she and we can get back to normal life after two years of suffering.
1:15.0	While that's one side of life, the other side has been all about my new job,
1:19.1	and it's been pretty cool learning the ins and outs of the sticker and promotion business.
