| 0:19.8 | awesome news regarding my wife and her cancer situation. |
| 0:23.3 | Wednesday was her last day of chemotherapy, which is so exciting. |
| 0:27.4 | While the medicine has been working and her last scan showed no cancer detected, this whole process has been pretty brutal. |
| 0:34.0 | I'll walk you through how it goes. |
| 0:35.8 | And walks into the hospital feeling great. And then it's off to labs, so she gets those through a port so she doesn't have to have an IV in her arm every time. |
| 0:43.3 | Then we go to six hours of chemo infusions. |
| 0:46.3 | And then we head home with what looks like a VHS tape hooked up to her giving her 30 more hours of medicine. |
| 0:51.3 | And then it's back to the hospital two days later |
| 0:54.6 | to get disconnected, and then three more hours of fluid infused in her, and that is her chemo |
| 0:59.3 | experience. While this part totally sucks, it's the next five days that are really, really |
| 1:04.1 | awful. And she's nauseous, her hands and feet go numb, and she can't deal with anything cold, |
| 1:09.5 | and she's generally miserable. |
| 1:11.3 | And then slowly but surely she starts to feel better. |
| 1:14.7 | And once she feels really good, we do it all over again. |
| 1:17.9 | The good news is we're done with chemotherapy and really we have one very important scan left |
| 1:23.3 | and if that goes as planned, Ange has one major surgery, and hopefully this nightmare is behind us. |
| 1:28.9 | But that's not all the nightmares for the Powell family. |
| 1:31.8 | Another nightmare, which we're in the middle of and it's not close to as bad as cancer, is our roofing project. |
