TJ Schiller was a huge name in the world of ski slopestyle in the 2000s. 0:15.0	I'm your host, Mike Powell, and this week I have no long thought out or drawn out intro for you.
0:20.7	This week, we're going to talk about crushing Powell, because that's what I've had to look forward
0:24.3	to the past few times I've headed up to the summit at Snow Kwami.
0:27.6	It has been deep in the northwest.
0:29.7	And the snow, while heavier on some days, has been pretty light overall, which is a treat up here.
0:35.4	This year, my ski crew consists of my brother, who's on a snowboard,
0:39.3	and my great friend and old K2 co-worker Mike Goot. I really want to get Goot to come on the podcast
0:44.7	as he made such a big difference in the world of skiing while he was at K2, but he's one of those
0:49.7	guys that will never do it, and he'll even be annoyed that I brought up his name on the intro.
0:54.6	And the last most important member of my crew is my son Keaton.
0:58.6	And over the years, the heavy powder has been a challenge for him.
1:02.2	But this past weekend, we got off the lift for our first run.
1:05.7	Everything was fresh and we started hauling ass.
1:08.5	I usually stay behind my kids so if he crashes, I can pick up the
1:11.9	pieces. But this was first drawn on a powder day, and I wanted it. As I'm hauling ass through shin,
1:17.9	almost needy powder, I look over to my left and there's my 11-year-old, keeping up and shredding.
1:23.8	What a proud dad moment. I mean, we are weekend warriors. We ski more than most, but we don't live at the resort.
1:29.3	And like every parent who raises a kid who skis, we have put a shit ton of time and effort into getting him to learn to love skiing.
1:35.3	And that takes a lot. I mean, sweating through the parking lot, carrying a bunch of different pairs of skis,
1:41.3	sweating bullets just to try to get to your lesson, and then
