I'm your host Mike Powell, and this week I'm going to share my kind of embarrassing and very painful ski experience with you.

So I headed to the summit at Snow Kwame this past week to do some skiing with my kid,

and we were psyched to check out Hyatt or Summit East or whatever you want to call it.

And anyways, we get into the parking lot to boot up, and I'm carrying me and my kid skis to the ski area.

My kid has our poles.

And it is icy in the lot as I'm walking, and I slip a few times, but I catch myself.

No big deal, but it is slick as shit.

But then it happened.

My feet slid out from underneath me.

I was airborne, parallel to the ground, and I slammed so hard, tailbone first into the ground.

I was writhing in pain on the ground while people were walking by, stopping to look at me, but no

one really asked if I was okay. They were just staring at me, which I understand. We are in the

middle of a global pandemic, and there is no need to help the guy who was on the ground. And I stayed on the ground for about three minutes in total agony.

But really, I have a high tolerance for pain, so I was able to get up, shake it off,

and Keaton and I headed over to the ski lift.

I tell him that I think I'd be able to ski and I see if he's shaken up at all.

He has a little headache as my skis hit him in the helmet

as I was falling down. Like with all my weight, I fell down, my ski edge went right into his helmet
