We went to a funeral, we sat Shiva, and to be honest, I went to a couple of bars and saw

some high school friends.

And while I've been super careful about things relating to coronavirus leading up until

0:34.8

now, based on my behavior the past week and a half, a test is the only

0:39.2

way for me to really know if I am safe. So I went and got my COVID test. Six inches of plastic

0:45.1

were inserted inside me and wiggled around. I thought it was going to hurt, as I had only

0:49.9

inserted fingers in those holes before. But there was no pain. It was just uncomfortable.

And while I waited for my test results, I quarantined away from my family for about 40 hours,

1:00.0

and then the results came in. And guess what? I'm clean for now.

Let me tell you, I did accept a ton of risk more than I normally would, but it felt so good to be kind of free again.

Now it's back to Lockdown Life for me.

1:14.6

And with Lockdown Life comes some things that I haven't mentioned in a while.

1:18.6

The first thing is my Trager Grill. I love it. I use it three to four times a week,

1:23.6

and everything I cook is amazing because Trigger makes it easy.

1:26.6

I have the app that's connected

1:29.1

to my grill, I stick the probe in the meat, and I can look at my phone and see the temperature.

1:33.7

It is idiot proof. And you won't believe how good the smoke makes everything taste.

1:39.3

Another thing that I haven't mentioned that is arguably more important than cooking great meat

1:43.8

is voting.

If you are listening on Monday, you only have a few hours left to get your vote in and make sure
