and it's me jesse hey Jake it's me you know i'm loud and i'm this i'm off-putting but also I'm literally the only female character with agency in this whole dang franchise.

That's right.

We're talking today about Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 because I just felt like it was unfair to only cover the first movie.

Yes, we have so much talk about in the first movie with the beginnings of Pixar, everything. But this actually does tell some more of the story of Pixar here because really Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 are such landmark kind of moments in the evolution of Pixar, I feel like. As I was realizing just now, like, now with Pixarar films i definitely like expect to weep my eyes out now

but that wasn't always so with pixar that was there was always an emotional core to pixar films

but it wasn't until really up i feel like that that really got the floodgates going um a little bit

at least right up top there and then inside out and and i think

toy story three was one of those movies that kind of marked the change for pixar oh we now know how to make

adults cry so we're going to do that like every movie we we can talk about it once we get to toy

story three but i just feel like and then toy story two marks i, a maturity in their storytelling, a maturity in their character development, um, and things

of that nature.

Well, it's one of the kind of trademark things that makes, uh, Pixar completely kind of

on its own from Disney is when you think about a Disney movie, it's always like a princess who's like in a tower or

under the sea or, you know, just kind of stuck in a place where she's low and she yearns for

something more. Every, you know, every Disney, even Aladdin. Yes. There's so much more to me. Okay.

So it's always this, you know, there must be more than this provincial life.

Yes.

You know, it's all very like big want.
