Yeah, a couple things right out of the gate this morning. I want to tell you about number one, really excited about this end of year unleashed offering. One of our highest values around here is biblical authority and biblical worldview. And one of the things that our country specifically is suffering from a shortage of is enough workers to get out into our country, plant churches, preaching are trained with a biblical worldview and so we are really excited to partner continue to partner with ozart christian college for that we have one more really cool initiative we're going to share with you next week we're also very excited about that so make sure you hear next week so you can hear about that as well. Here's another thing.

And I'm going to get in big trouble for this with John, but he is traveling this weekend. And so he won't know about this until later. So I'll get away with him for about 48 hours. I want you to circle a date on your calendar. And that date is January the 4th, 2026. And I want you to make sure that you are here across our campuses because that's going to be John's final sermon as our lead pastor.

And now here's the deal it's not going to be his final

sermon as far as it depends on me I've told him he has an open invitation whenever he wants to come

back and preach but I don't want you to miss what God wants to say through him on that Sunday

so make sure you are here on January the 4th for that weekend. Now, here's the other thing. Get your pen out today because we are going to do some work today. We're going to be in Ephesians chapter 5. We're going to turn our attention to marriage. We've been in this mega series. We've looked at biblical manhood, biblical womanhood. Now we're going to look at marriage. Now, how many of you, by a show of hands, remember these two right here? Y'all remember these right here? Okay, so I promised you I would do a little research on Mr. Mrs. Potatohead. Here's what I found out. I didn't know this. Mr. Potatohead was created in 1949, okay? Wasn't until later that the creator of Mr. Potatohead deemed that it was not good for him to be alone, then came.

Mrs. Potato Head, and as the great theologian Rob Bass said, it takes two to make a thing go right.

And so that's what we've had since the early 50s. Now, some of you know this. I did not know this.

Okay? They did not always look like this. In fact, it used to be a

little bit more terrifying. Watch this.
