All right, rest of you, just too much turkey. Too much turkey. Hey, I don't know if you noticed this or not. God is doing all kinds of cool stuff around here that we are so excited about. One thing I want to tell you about, make sure you don't miss First Wednesday worship this coming Wednesday.

This will be our final first Wednesday worship of 2025 before we get back into it

in the new year but make sure you're at one of our campuses for that what better way to kick off

the Christmas season and gathering together to sing to our king and our Savior Jesus so make sure

you're you're there for that the second thing is this this. I'm really, really excited about this one.

Our wedding day celebration is coming up on December the 6th. We got 50 couples that are going to get married on that day. Yeah, it's awesome. 50 couples. Some of you have extended your help and your services and things like that. Thank you so much for that. There's still time to register for this. So if you're wrestling with that decision, there is still time.

We've got plenty of room.

We can go all day if we need to. Okay, so make sure you go to the website, sign up one man, one woman, one marriage license. We will do all of that for free. Let's all as a church be praying for those couples as they decide to put Jesus at the very center of this covenant before God and with one another.

The third thing is this, I was so pumped last week to be sitting out here at our Nicholasville campus when we started talking about what we're going to be doing with this unleashed offering.

We've given you several of the initiatives, but last week was one I was most excited about because this adoption thing that we're going to partner with Christian families in our church to help them add to their families by adopting kids, there is nothing more near and dear to the heart of God.

Y'all, that's our story. Like, that's what God has done for us. He's adopted us into his family,

and we get to actually help Christian couples be able to mirror that in their homes. And so I would just challenge you to give substantially and sacrificial to that endeavor. Let's pray and thank God for all he's doing around here. And then we're going to dive into Ephesians chapter 5. All right. So let's do this. Father, God, thank you, thank you, thank you. You've been so good. You've done so much for us. Father, we see you moving in our midst. We see you moving in our church. We see you moving in our community, in our country, and around the world. And thank you so much that we get to be a part of it, Father. We are very humbled that you call us to be a part of your story. And so, Father, we are gathered here today to honor you for who you are and what you've done as we dive into your word today I pray they'll challenge us and change us it's in Jesus name I pray amen so a couple weeks ago

I have kind of this routine I'm very routine oriented person on Mondays when I'm writing my

sermons early in the morning I will run out of steam at some point around 10-ish in the morning

and I just need a little bit of a breather
