Well, when I was in the second grade, I got on the school bus after school like I normally did,

sat down in my seat, and a big boy, sixth grader named Chris, a bully, got on behind me,

and for some reason, just decided to sucker punch me in the back of the head.

So my head hits the window, and man, I was just kind of dazed and confused and in pain.

And about 10 minutes later, the bus stops at the junior high school.

And that's when my older brother Judd got on the bus.

And he sat down beside me and he could just tell that something was wrong.

And so he said, did Chris do something to you?

And all I had to do was nod my head. And he looked at me and I'll never forget, he said, did Chris do something to you? And all I had to do was nod my head.

And he looked at me and I'll never forget, he said, John, no matter what happens, you stay in the seat.

And I watched my brother, get up, push his sleeves up, and he walked to the back of the bus, and he

whooped Chris and all these other buddies of his.

And the bus driver stops the bus, runs back there,

pulls my Tasmanian devil of a brother off the pile,

puts him in the front seat and tells him he can't move.

And so I'm looking at him, and man, his hair's all messed up,

his bottom lip is busted.

And he looks at me with a big grin on his face

and he just did this.

Like no one messes with my kid brother.

As you begin to read this book, especially those of you that are new to it, you're going

to see because it's not overtly stated that Jesus got tired of Satan picking on you, beating you up, bullying you, and that's why he came.
