Thank you. Hey, everybody. Welcome to the Roto Wire Fantasy Baseball podcast, Jeff Erickson here with Fred Zinky, who is the parent of the year.

He gave up defense of a two-time NL championship in Tau Wars to be at his son's hockey tournament this weekend.

So this is my son who's not super serious about hockey.

His team won one game.

They lost two games.

They spent way more time at the hotel

water park than they did at the hockey arena. My son said he had a great time. And to top it all off

on the two and a half hour drive home on Sunday morning, I listened to the Tauors NL auction

on Sirius that I would have been participating in.

Oh, no. So I was actually driving, listening to the bids. And it was, it was good coverage. They had a good auctioneer type guy on at some of the points. Was that Fencey that was doing that? Yes, I think so. Yeah, he's good at that. And, he gets into it. As I was following along, I was listening and I was like, oh, that's a great deal. You know, oh, that's a terrible deal. And I thought, I could have rock this. I could have rock this. I could have rocked this. I could have rocked this. I could have not have. But I had ideas, certainly driving home. So who were some of those ideas? What caught your ear? I don't know. That's probably all. I'd have to probably pull the draft board up.

Now I'm more focused on your team. is certainly driving home, but whatever. Who were some of those ideas? What cost you're either? I don't know.

That's probably all. I'd have to probably pull the draft board up. Now I'm more focused on your team from the AOL. Pulling off the side of the road. You're like, right down right now. So you really realize when you're listening to it on the radio, how fast the auction goes. Like a player would go for whatever. You know, this guy goes for $22.

And I think to myself, you you know do I like that do I not like that and already the next player was already up so I haven't

done any auctions this year and I'm not going to now because Tell Wars usually my only auction

and I forgot how exciting they are they like they're awesome yes. They're so much fun, especially early on.

But, you know, when, you know, when the powder is still fresh and, you know, you have, have a budget to spend still. And the world is your oyster. You can build any way you want. Then you get in a later rounds. You're like, oh, what are they doing? I know. And you know how I've already talked on here about how I love when there's less of a playbook.

And I love the there's less of a playbook.
