Hey family, God bless you. It's time to dive into week five of the Modern Church

series and man time sure flies. It seems like I feel like I can go on for five or

six or seven more weeks and talking to you about the things of God and we will

continue although this is the last installment of the Modern Church series and I

really feel like this might be the most important part as we take a look at a

passage of scriptures that I think encompasses and embodies who the church

should be. One passage of scripture, just a few verses and I think that it breaks

down who the church should be in any and every era. And so I want us to go

there to Acts chapter two. I'm beginning at verse 41 through 47 as you are

finding it in your your Bible as you're finding in your word. I'll just recap a

little bit with Modern Church. We've been talking about a variety of things and

if you haven't tapped into the earlier installments of this message I encourage

you to do so. We talked about how the church is anointed to be philanthropic that

yes we lay hands on the sick and they recover. Yes we drive out demons we

understand spiritual warfare. Yes there's so many things that the church does

we preach the gospel. We get people to an awakening of who they are in Christ.

All that takes place but what's interesting and we saw it in the book of Acts

we were also anointed just like Jesus to do good to be philanthropic and and
