believe it's a prophetic word. It's a word of wisdom and insight and so I just

want to jump right into it. Let's just go for it. I want to draw your attention to

Deuteronomy chapter 8 and we're gonna look at the first four verses in here.

It's one of I love this passage of Scripture. It's just it's one of those rare

passages where where God explains himself. Where God takes a moment and he

unpacks why his children had to walk through a certain season and I won't give

it away. I'll read it and we'll unpack it together but let's just go. Deuteronomy

8 chapter 1. I will give you the backdrop. This is when the children of Israel are

getting ready to cross over into their promised land and it has been a long

time coming. They are coming out of a difficult season. A very challenging

season. A season that yes there were miracles in that season. There was

provision in that season but I mean they went through a lot. It was a dark

season. It was a crazy season and now they have whether they

made it kind of like us. We weathered the pandemic. We weathered the storm and

they're getting ready to step into the promised and I just couldn't think of a

better passage of Scripture to speak to you about what I'm really sensing

God wants us to understand in this season. So let's just read it. It says every
