Yeah, you got it. And Kirby, how the hell are you?

Oh, crazy, man. Just staying in my house, doing house things.

Yeah, it must be a lot of fun. What's it like being a quiet drive during quarantine?

That's kind of weird. I mean, it feels a little bit like, even though this is going to be like, I don't know, we're going on a year and a couple months or whatever.

He's like, when this is done, there's going to be a lot of pent up, a pent up energy coming from quiet drive. I feel like we're going to play a Christmas show, even if it's not Christmas.

What was the band's plan when all this stuff hit the fan? Man, man.

I don't know for musicians, it's like, when you get this type of an event, this seems like a black one event for musicians, because a lot of musicians make most of their money just touring and bringing their music to fans on a person-to-person basis.

But they also have these other mediums like streaming and merchandise and stuff that they can kind of fall back to.

Drew just jumped in as well. Sorry, yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry. Go ahead Drew. Yeah, he just hired Drew. How are you, buddy?

I'm good, man. How are you?

Good. Kevin was just giving us an answer about what's been going on with quiet driving in the quarantine. So we've got you and Kirby and Kevin all on at the same time, but it's a new fangled machine. We're using it at the station. We don't know how to use it yet. So bear with us.

No, no worries. Go ahead Kevin. Great to hear from you. Yeah, so basically like just pull up in your studio and get to work. And I don't know. I mean, that's the way they're handling it.

I'd like to know if you've written our new hit single yet. That's a great question. I'm kind of getting bored.

Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, Drew just that gun. I didn't a Drew came over. I don't know if it was a while ago, but Drew came over and we were we were going through a bunch of down.

And I'm not really like insanely stoked about all of them. There's one or two that I was really, really excited about and Drew is like, yeah, we just cut this. Why didn't we cut this? And I'm like, uh, we'll get to it.

Yeah, well, here's what I would like to do if you guys don't mind because normally when we have you on the show, you're on during the regular radio show. And of course, we're up against breaks and such like that, but the fun about having you under the podcast is we can talk for a long time and really delve deeply into stuff.

So we've not really been able to talk to you too much about the first record and getting signed and how that whole process went and what has happened since then. So are you guys okay with delving into that kind of part of your history right now?

Yeah, I think that'd be cool. I think one of the things that is really interesting when we start talking to other people about that is that a lot of these things that we haven't thought about in a long time sort of come to the surface.

So apologies if we if we talk about anything that we it's kind of racing because we haven't we haven't gone back that far in a while. Let's do it.
