B and coming down to the basement. Thank you for allowing us to normalize

vulnerability for every human being on earth so that every human being is fully seen, fully heard,

fully known, fully loved, even if they're not fully agreed with, because four out of five ain't bad.

Listen, y'all, today I'm so excited because I have my brother here. This is my brother.

We don't have a lot of relational equity, but every time we have been in each other's presence,

there's been this connection that is tangible. There are some people that you meet and you don't

have to have their whole backstory to know

that they have some of your backstory in them, that they have been developed in a way.

They have gone through some wounds of thought that have allowed them to give birth to ideas

that resonate with you.

And then when you hear them talk or you hear them speak, you're like, don't we know each other? That's how I've always felt about my next

guest. He has come out with a new book called Knowing, and we are going to get into that. But before we get

into that, we're just going to get into him because

he is a first time guest to the basement. He is a thought leader, global thought leader. He is a

pastor, co-pastor, lead pastor of the potter house in Dallas, Texas, a place that I have deep roots with.
