A Patriot spokesperson told the New York Times that the team had not heard about this lawsuit or any of the related allegations. Well, John, how does this affect him getting on the field? What I would say is I think this caught the Patriots by surprise, like a lot of people they didn't know about it. Now, there are other people. There have been grumbles about this over the weekend. There are people that texted me that something's going on. It sounded fishy

the whole situation. You don't know that it's going to wind up in a lawsuit the way that it did

today. But the Patriots are processing all this, reading through everything and trying to figure

out what is the best thing to do from this point on. They have a decision to make here.

And Antonio Brown, I think, is used up a lot of the goodwill that he had built up through the years over the course of the last off season or so.

There are people who have questions about him.

The New England Patriots are going to have to decide whether or not they have similar questions about him and what they want to do.

Do they want to stand by a guy that they don't know who has a questionable reputation for the last couple of months?

Or do they want to go forward with a receiver that they were willing to sign because of how good

and talented and dynamic he is? And I think that's something the Patriots right now are sifting

through because, as I said, as is with the case of everybody else, they're seeing this for the first time and learning about it.

has sued him civilly for three cases of incidents of sexual assault.

Obviously, we don't know if he's guilty or not.

However, we do know that if the Patriots have been aware of this, I would bet you that there is absolutely no way they would have signed them.
