You've probably seen this by now, but there was a fight at a little league game.

0:34.2

And apparently these things happen in hockey a lot too

0:37.7

but hockey I can almost understand because like you get a mom

0:41.9

and they see their kid get the slew foot or get you know elbowed in the face

0:46.2

and mom instincts take over oh you see red I mean I've seen that before

0:50.9

and I've even seen like parents get really heated at like like kids wrestling matches because once again it's it's fairly violent.

But this was a situation where the way it was originally reported was that there was one team that had eight players, another team had like 13.

1:05.2

And so the numbers were off and there was an argument about that originally.

1:09.1

But now they're saying that there was a 13-year-old umpire.

1:13.9

And people were having a problem that the 13-year-old umpire wasn't, I guess, telling the players

1:21.6

not to use foul language.

1:23.9

So they had a problem with how this kid who was an umpire wasn't regulating the situation when these kids are basically this umpire's peers no when i when i was umpire when i was an umpire i did the same thing when i was a teenager uh i had all i wanted was the money in the game day right right and if you were the only if you were the only umpire, they, like, wanted you to make calls at the bases. And one time a guy said, why are you not running down to first so you can make the proper call? And I said, I'm not running. Like, I'm standing here. If you want to call the bases, call the bases. These are little kids. So these were seven-year-old kids who were playing, and arguments started breaking out the stands, and eventually the parents asked the 13-year-old umpire to put a stop to all the language that was being thrown out there. It was not over a bad call by the umpire. It was that they expected this 13-year-old to regulate the situation. And so when that... Wait, wait, wait, so the kids were swearing and it wasn't the coach's responsibility? See, that's what I was thinking. It's like, why is this the 13-year-old umpire's responsibility? So everything kind of got crazy when one of the mothers came out onto the field with this baseball bat. Like, what are you going to do to a 13-year-old umpire? I think they were trying to-do anyway. That's assault, brother. Of course it is. So they go out there and it turns into, you've seen it. What is it? Like 15 people in a fight? Yeah, and there's this one guy that's in like teal pants that just cheap shot on everyone. And I guess if they haven't found him yet's who the cops really want yeah he took off so they they at the time when this thing went down he he ended up running because the police did show up but I mean it's parents from both sides and it becomes and all the kids are like running away like they don't want to be anywhere near this and it's moms and dads and everyone's as a matter of fact we have a clip of just kind of one of the moments of

3:09.2

of all the chaos do you have it right there Fred

3:10.9

I think you might have it in your

3:12.0

thing right there you do not okay so I mean

3:15.0

it got so bad that there was even people
