Summary

On this hour: The guys revisit the Irving trade and why things might not have worked out for the Celtics in the end, perhaps they didn’t want to support the launch of a business called Hermetic Friends Inc., They also break down some of the other moves in the NBA including why no one wants to play with Lebron. And does breaking down every possible stat suck the life out the game. Marshall Hook and his family drove to St. Louis and Chicago, which reminded Fred and Rich of awful trips and places they’ve stayed growing up with their families

I mean, if he would have gone to the Lakers and been with Anthony Davis and LeBron James,

that would have sucked because they would have been so good, so dominant, and it would have been a pain in the ass, and it would have been one of those things that we've kind of had the last few years where Golden State Warriors is just better than everyone, and you're just trying to beat that, you know, take out the king. But now, I mean, it's really anyone's game. And also he he got out of the East, which is obviously great for the Celtics because who knows how any team is going to be here in the East. I don't really know how much, other than the Milwaukee box, as long as you got Yons said a couple, you're the best team of the East. Philadelphia. Philadelphia is going to be good, but I don't know how much better they got because they lost their best player. Jimmy Butler, they lost him. And you know what? JJ Reddick was a massive piece of the offense. But you get Horford. That helps. But anyway. And I'm not saying that the Celtics are all of a sudden going to be like world beaters, but at least it's now kind of you look at the east and go, you know, I can see four or five teams doing this. I'll just tell you that complex has put out the teams that could win the title.
