This is not a time to play chicken anymore.

You've missed the 4th of July coming back, which was a golden opportunity.

You've given up what seems like at least a month worth of games right now, because neither

side has done this, which they could have done two months ago having these discussions.

But the reality is right now we're getting closer to knowing when baseball is going to come back.

Yesterday, Rob Manfred said it's 100% that they're coming back, but then really offered no real solution other than, well, if the players don't want it, we're going to force it on you.

And we're going to put the 50 games out there or 48 games, I think, is what the official number would be if it ended up having to go that course. Manfred wasn't, he was very noncommittal about the actual number of games last night. But he said, under no circumstances, that they're not going to be a season. If these two idiotic sides can't get out of their own way, then I'm just going to step in and force people to get going here. Yeah. So, I mean, once again, you're looking at a situation where nobody wants to budge, nobody's going one way or the other, people are losing interest. But at least they had a plan. And as I said before, the NHL is frustrating me because every, every league's got a plan in place except for the NHL. They, they have, they don't even know where they're going to play. And there's no excuse for the, that, that they haven't been able to figure it out up at this point. And you can't use the Canada example because the Raptors, they're in the NBA. They've

got no problem. They're able to travel. I don't get, like, I don't get why there is such

little foresight on behalf of the NHL to where they didn't have at least a plan A and a plan B ready

to go. And if plan A wasn't ready immediately, they would go to plan B. And I know you're going to get hockey, but the longer they spin their wheels, these things, as we know, take a while to start up. Now, the one thing with the NBA, which I, John, have I been foreshadowing this for a while now? I'm happy as hell of the NBA is coming back, but being trapped in one spot, even if you're

Dan Roach and it's at Disney World for three months, dude, that's a big ask without being,

without being able to leave.

And I keep comparing it to when this quarantine started.

I think that when the whole stay-at-home

order, whatever it was in mid-March. Yes. Yeah, it was right before St. Patrick's Day.

Yeah. And think about that. That's less than three months from now, from right now. Think about

how this has seemed like a lifetime. So what you've got is that if you are an NBA player and you're somebody that isn't even going to go far in the playoffs,

you're just someone who has to go down there, do your several weeks of warm-ups, you have to do your regular season of eight games,

you're round robin to get in, and then let's say you're out in the first round.

You're not one of the better teams. That's still over two months of you being away from anybody
