| 0:00.0 | Matter of fact, I just, I looked at that album yesterday and there's 10 tracks on it. It's 19 minutes long. Yeah, I was going to say that I remember the tracks being like a minute and a half, two minutes. They do the classic song and then it's over with. It's like each song is about a minute and a half, minute, 45 seconds, in, out, like vocal layering. They're probably eight voices at once and that thick guitar, Bad Religion's... How is it possible that Greg Grafton and Bad Religion give us both that and 21st century digital boy? I didn't mind that song. You didn't mind? The lyrics were stupid. The music's good. See, but Los Angeles is burning is the same era, and that's a great song. Like, I mean... Yes, they have many great songs. Great bands can make songs with stupid lyrics every once in a while. We learn that with Let's Get Rocked by Def Leopard. Yes, because everything else is about them. So cerebral. Well, because pour some sugar on me had such great lyrics. I mean, it was really life-changing. I think that that was like the theme to Amnesty International for years. I'm trying to remember that bad religion. Los Angeles was burning was a great song. Oh, sorrow. Sorrows are the best. It doesn't get better than sorrow. That might be one of, I mean, that's, that's an all-time great song. |
| 1:27.2 | That's one I've got to throw on the old Amazon playlist. Okay, so if I had to go in order, I would say as far as top Christmas albums, Charlie Brown Christmas, then it would be bad of religion Christmas songs. You keep going to that. Really? You like put that on and enjoy the Vince Geraldi. Non-stop. Depressing. It's not depressing. |
| 1:29.0 | Some of it's very depressing. |
| 1:29.9 | The French The Ritz-Crawley Christmas album? the Vince Geraldi Depressing. It's not depressing. |
| 1:29.0 | It's some of it's very depressing. |
| 1:31.4 | The Vince Crowley Christmas album? |
| 1:33.2 | Yes. No, it's not. What's depressing? |
| 1:36.3 | The slow, wonky jazz? |
| 1:39.3 | Christmas time is here? Have you heard the Stone Temple Pilots version of that? |
| 1:43.4 | That is excellent. That whole entire album. There's no possible way to listen to that and not get in the mood for Christmas. |
| 1:48.0 | And then number three, I would say Willie Nelson's Pretty Paper. |
| 1:52.7 | And then it would go... |
| 1:53.7 | Okay, now we're best friends again. |
| 1:54.9 | Okay. |
| 1:55.5 | We Three Kings, the Reverend Horton Heat Christmas album is excellent. |
| 2:00.0 | Excellent. |
| 2:17.7 | And then I'd probably have to just go with Elvis's Christmas album. I mean, you can't beat that. The first very special Christmas is pretty solid. I went back and listened to it because it's got, of course, Christmas and Hollis from MDMC. It's got Baby Please Come Home by You, too. But there's some hidden gems in there. Although there's a Bon Jovi piece of trash that somehow managed to make that album. |
| 2:19.1 | I will go ahead and admit that I enjoy the Harry Connick Jr. Christmas album. |
| 2:24.2 | Harry Connich, Jr.? |
| 2:25.2 | With Slay Ride, and he's got one or two originals on there, but I saw him do it on Letterman, |
| 2:33.0 | and I'm like, this goofy grin and bastard, he's |
| 2:36.1 | got the New Orleans jazz band with him, and it's like, you know what, it may not be what, |
