started spiraling out of control and what we learned since then is that Craig Carton had a massive

massive gambling problem and he was millions upon millions of dollars in debt but what's odd about

it was that these these, like these wealthy listeners,

okay, so how it all started, according to Carton, is that he was bragging about his prowess

in Blackjack, and that Boomer Assison gave him $10,000, and Carton said he could turn it into 25, which he did.

And then wealthy listeners started to offer him big sums of money and the hope of getting a cut of the winnings.

Which is hysterical.

It's like it's one thing to say that I'm good at sports gambling because there's some sort of knowledge that I guess, you know, of the sports

world that can help you be better, but just to say I'm better at Blackjack?

Like, isn't Blackjack one of those things that I don't care if you're a professional?

Aren't you basically even at that point?

I mean, don't, doesn't, don't you have the same odds as the dealer at winning and losing blackjack?

Unless you could have counting cards.
