But right now, real quick, let's wrap this up because we've been talking about some of the new rules that the NFL competition committee passed yesterday, and one of them being if a foul, it is a foul if a player lowers his head to initiate and make contact with his helmet against an opponent.

The player may be disqualified.

It applies to any player anywhere on the field.

And in my opinion, by definition, that makes almost every tackle illegal,

unless you run standing straight up and just go chest to chest with a guy and knock him over.

You always lead with your head, but you obviously try to make contact with your shoulders first, but because of the speed, this happens. So defenders in the NFL can't lower their head to make a hit. Does that mean that running backs? And according to this rule, yes, it means everyone in the field. Running backs can't lead with the crowd of their helmet when they truck someone, which is insane, or are they only protecting the offensive players, which I could see them trying to... I could see them calling it one way or the other, because what does the NFL want? They want big scores, big touchdowns, and the defensive players have been getting screwed for years now in the NFL.
