And I remember telling our program director and general manager at the time, I hate sports talk. Because I would just listen to what was happening across the street. I'm like, literally they're the most miserable people on the planet. It's like sports is supposed to be something that, you know, you enjoy.

I do not like the format flip. And then they said, well, we'll let you do it the way you want to do it. That's why we wanted to

then for some reason things worked out.

It just went, what is imaging from a time and error that I don't want to be a part of them. That is imaging from WFAN in 1986. It is. That never changed. And just because it started to feel comfortable to people because it was the same jingle over and over. So even though the station had aged, the jingles had not. And for some reason, someone in programming was like, oh, just take that sound and put it on a brand new station that's been launched in 2001. It's been highly successful in New York. So just keep it going. And let's give the guy. Get the dude from Survivor to sing the jingle for us. Give him a couple bucks.
