Irvin was actually talking to our old friend Rich Keith, and he was interviewing Michael

Irvin and Michael Irvin started talking about, he goes, I'm telling you right now at the

Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations with were leaning

toward the direction of Tom Brady coming to the Dallas Cowboys.

He said it was shocking.

I had a vodka cranberry in my hand when they said to me, put the drink down and said, let's

talk a little bit about this.

I promise you, I had a conversation with people.

Michael Irvin said that he spoke to people in the know, people of power that believe that they're going to get rid of Dak Prescott and bring in Tom Brady. Good. Then you sign Prescott. You got to have a quarterback for the next 10 years. I would love to have Dak Prescott for the Patriots. How awesome would that be? How much fun would it be to see what Bill Belichick could do with a guy like Dak Prescott? It would be nice. The criticism, of course, of the Dallas offense is they built it around a very strong offensive line and a great running back. And Prescott is not the most important part of that. Right. So, and by the way, the Dallas offensive line and the running back is exactly what Brady needs. It's perfect. I mean, I think they have three pro bowlers on that offensive line. Well, that's how they built the team. So, again, you say bring Dak Prescott here. I don't know. I don't know. I don't. Maybe he's the quarterback of the future, but I don't know if you take that offensive line away from him and that running back away from him, how good he is. Who would you rather have? Brady or Prescott at this point? No, no, no, no. Just if there was another quarterback out there besides Brady. Oh, if you're Dallas? No, if you're the, if you're the Patriots and Brady goes, who would you rather have? There's no one better than Prescott.

And I would say, I would agree with that, but you were saying, can you imagine what what Belichick can do with Prescott, I don't know if he's necessarily that stud that's going to give you another 10 years. He hasn't had a guy like that, though. I mean, think about that.
