Jose Baez was lawyer for Aaron Hernandez.

He has a new book out that came out yesterday called Unnecessary Roughness Inside the Trial and Final Days of Aaron Hernandez.

Appreciate it. Okay, so how does this... I think, Shana should have filled that car up with a little bit more gas, that's for sure. Right, right. He could have am scraed out of that thing. All right. So how does this work if you're someone's attorney and then you come out with a book because you think of something about it like

attorney client privilege and things like that how does this whole thing work legally well I

couldn't write it without his consent and this is one of the things that we discussed during the

jury deliberation that we were going to do because we we knew, we felt really confident about the verdict, and we were now going to, we were now focusing on the Oden Lloyd appeal, and we thought if people understood him a little bit better, that perhaps in a close call, it might assist him later on down the road.

So that was one of the things that we kind of discussed.

Plus, he really wanted people to hear his version and the other side of the story.

And that's what I think this book is.

It's more of, it is really the other side of the Aaron Hernandez story that no one's ever heard before.

But he was found guilty of first-degree murder and, you know, sentenced to life in prison.

Isn't this book the very definition of profiting from a murder?

Not at all.

I can tell you this.

I'm taking the money that I made off of this book, and it's being set up for a college fund for Aviel, his daughter.

So you don't get rich for writing books.

I've got my own – I've got a day job, and I do okay.

So this was really something that I felt I had to do because there's a lot out there that people don't know.
