| 0:47.5 | 2017 we're down the stretch and we lose a bunch of games in a row we end up sweeping you know the know, the whole Eastern Conference. And I don't think anybody in the Eastern Conference could, you know, really compete with us at a high level when we're playing the way we're supposed to be playing. 95 of Sports Hub, it is Toucher and Rich. We got Ted Johnson Studios. We wait for Danny Aange to give us a call. And maybe it's because the bar is a little bit lower. As I said, I thought the Toronto loss was the worst loss of the season because I could hang my hat on all season long, no matter how bad they played. It was almost never against a team that was a good team. They would always get up for the ones that were ahead of them in the standings or maybe ones in the West that were formidable opponents. And then Toronto was a complete opposite. They laid a dud. And that's why I thought it was the best because it blew my entire theory that like Kyrie Irving said, they're just waiting for the playoffs and there's no one that they can't beat in seven games. He repeated it last night. I actually don't mind that being a talking point because if that's the case, that's really all his fans we have to hang our hat on right now, because they're not going to go really too far in the standings. They're kind of stuck at some place between fourth and fifth seed, and I don't see that changing. Yes, John. Well, what do you think about it? Again, the erotic city portion of it kind of took us off on a tangent, but what do you think about changing the starting lineup back? What do you think about putting either Gordon Hayward or Jalen Brown or both in the starting lineup? Try it. I got no problem with it. Everything is down the table right now. Shake something up. And you know what? And we'll ask Danny about it too, but I kind of want to get his assessment of what Brad Stevens' role in this entire thing has been. |
| 2:21.7 | And how much blame does Brad Stevens get from his boss in this case? |
| 2:25.7 | Well, I mean, I think that not to predict what he's going to say in a couple minutes, |
| 2:28.9 | but I believe that he is going to say something along the lines of, you know, everyone needs to reevaluate what's going on. I don't think he's going to completely stand up for Brad Stevens. But I think that that's not a bad idea. Try it out. I've been an advocate for a while of always having Marcus Smart and you're starting five. I think that having that attitude, because they were lacking at the beginning of the year, I've been for that. |
