There's two local stories that I'm fascinated with this morning.

One for, uh, kind of funny reasons, one for kind of serious reasons.

But the, the one that has been cracking me up on morning because I've been seeing the video of it, like running on loop, is this MBTA driver who hired a guy in a Michael Myers mask.

So he's driving his train.

And I, what's that?

Was it?

Yeah, the guy driving his trolley.

And he paid a dude to come up to the trolley and pull him out and beat him up.

And the guy's wearing like a Mike Myers mask.

It's, it on Halloween night, Dan. It's a 30th. Okay, so it's a night before. 2016, guy goes up, Michael Myers mask. The video's out there and beats the guy up. So the guy afterwards goes and files for all of this workers' comp and all this different money. He gets paid because he can't work, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I mean, this dude does a really good job beating him up.

It ends up that he paid the guy, the driver paid this dude in the Michael Myers mess $2,000.

And the dummy, to complete the Halloween costume, bought like a little plastic trick-or-treat pumpkin,

because that's what adults do.

So he's holding a little trick-or-treat pumpkin, and as he runs away from the, quote-unquote, scene of the crime, he drops the pumpkin. Cops pick it up, immediately get fingerprints, and they go, what the hell happening? He goes, yeah, that guy paid me to do that. So there we go. The guy's getting arrested for fraud,

and one of the other charges, Dan, that they brought him up on?

He's filing false workman's comments. do that. So there we go. The guy's getting arrested for fraud and what are the other charges,

Dan, that they brought him up on? He's filing false workman's comp claims. Disability, he was going to go out on disability. That was probably the most important thing. The guy needed to go out on disability, so he's like, you have to hit me really good. But the video, like you said, of the security camera, of him running away. At what point do you think he realized when he took the mask off, he said, I forgot my pumpkin.

I forgot my black.

It was the perfect crime. Yeah. Except he left that stupid pumpkin behind the demon behind the demon in the first place. That one has been kind of funny. But then there's one that has been very disturbing. And as a matter of fact, there's somebody here working on the show who had to
