This is how the voter suppression logic works.

I mean, look, I wish we had property requirements

for voting in this country.

Like, I'm a radical about this, but there are,

and I'm kind of joking, but this conversation

is basically happening in terms of like,

should everybody that just wanders in without an ID

be able to vote, or should we maybe check whether

their signature matches up with their driver's license

or other, you know, official identification?

And the Democrat line is that because any sort of,

any sort of rules about this might cause

there to be, you know, fewer black voters

in certain contexts.

Well, then that's just a repeat, you know,

I mean, here's Abrams herself.

She says, you know, it's protecting the vote

from the undesirable, and it's defending the integrity

of the vote for the necessary few.
