I will say, though, I think this film shares more DNA with other Blumhouse titles,

like Happy Death Day 1 and Happy Death Day 2 you, more so than it does the final girls.

And that's why when you say like the heart of this film, I do think there is heart in this film.

But because Julie Bowen is basically a glorified cameo and Olivia Holt, who I think is really good in this, it has a lot of fun bitchy one-liners.

I don't think they really spend enough time developing her relationship with Jamie.

And this isn't even necessarily a knock for me,

because like I said, I don't think this film was trying to be like the Final Girls.
