Hello my friends I'm Deepak Chopra this is Daily Breath. Our new series is called Total Meditation. The miracle

of transcendence is extraordinary because it teaches us that we are timeless. To see this everyday experience through new eyes, let's try

and exercise that I call feeling the miracle of transcendence. Sit quietly, observe your breath for a few seconds, close your eyes.

Now, think of the color pink.

And as you do, see the image of pink cotton candy in your mind's eye.

Now change the color of the cotton candy to blue,

then to green.

Finally, see the cotton candy vanish. It's easy to see an image in your

mind's eye and to make it change color or disappear. Instead of taking this ability for granted, reflect a moment.

Are you the image of cotton candy that you saw?

Obviously not.

By manipulating the image in your mind's eye, you have proof that you're not the image, that you're beyond it.

In fact, you as formless being created the image that has formed just through intention.

Nothing is happening in your mind that is actually you.

You pay attention or you don't pay attention to what is going on in your mind.

But who or what is paying attention?

Who created the mental image? You create mental images simply by being

creative. It's an aspect of consciousness that doesn't exist anywhere in

space or time. It exists nowhere and everywhere at the same time.

The miracle is that you are here doing a trivial exercise with cotton candy,

and at the same time you can access pure creativity,

which has no location in time of space.
