Hi my friends I'm the Park Chopra this is daily breath. We are so used to taking different roads for mental

and physical experiences that we don't realize that they all lead to the same

place. Ultimately, we understand the difference between being hyper alert and stressed

and being alert and rested at the same time.

Let's take an example.

If your palms are cold and sweaty,

that condition takes place down a different road from the

thought I'm going on a first date. Yet the two belong together if a first date or

whatever else may make you feel extremely nervous.

How can we unite the two roads into one?

And we do this through what I call the I am experience.

I am is simply the experience of your sense of self.

You don't need to remind yourself in any way that your sense of

self is always present. It's present right now. Look around the room where you are.

Look out through the window to see whatever strikes your eye.

Listen for sounds in your surroundings.

Touch the roof of your mouth with your tongue to experience its texture and any flavors you might detect.

Smell anything your nose happens to notice.

Now shut your eyes and repeat the same sequence by

imagining sights, imagining sounds, imagining textures, tastes, smells. At any given moment you are entangled in these sensations and

they are not separate from each other nor are they separate from the wholeness of experience that you're having this moment.

They mingle into one sensation, the total experience of being here and now.
