Hey everybody, welcome in. My name is Chris and oh my goodness, it's all actually happening. Hello there. Thank you so much for listening and making this stupid show part of your daily routine, whether you listen when you're going for a walk or going for a run or working out at the gym or driving the kids around. Hi kids. I really appreciate you being here.

One week from tonight, we will actually have an NFL game that counts.

It will be Ravens Chiefs, and then the Brazil game will be next Friday night, Packers

Eagles, and we will be off between now and then.

There will be millions more fantasy drafts.

And hopefully after this long couple months of talking through all the teams and most of the

players, you're feeling relatively prepared or at least like you're going to come out of your

draft with a clue and a good plan.

And then we will adapt from there.

You will never believe this, but the Cleveland Browns announced this morning that they

restructured Deshaun Watson's contract, converting $44 million of his base salary for this year

into a signing bonus and spreading the cap hit over multiple seasons into the future.

And now the Browns have the most salary cap room in the league.

Huh.

Not that I am a staunch proponent of Deshawn Watson, but it seems to me that I was told over and over

that the Browns were ruining themselves forever and kneecapping

themselves into infinity by offering that massive contract to Watson. And now you're telling me

they have the most cap room in the NFL. Huh. Oh, but don't worry. The credit card bill will

come due eventually.

Well, actually, no, because there's nothing preventing the team from doing the same thing again in the future.
