Now, the King's cancer diagnosis may have come as a surprise, but it's no secret that our head of state is something of a workaholic.

In fact, royal sources tell Talk TV that his first year as monarch, Camilla and Royal AIDS feared he would make himself ill.

The King carried out more than 550 royal engagements last year.

He was crowned king in his coronation ceremony in May,

but it wasn't until November that he gave his first speech as monarch at the State Opening

of Parliament. Then in December, he headed to Dubai to deliver an opening address at COP28,
