politics now regular listeners will know I'm all for a couple of weeks having a well-earned I think well-earned summer holiday

So the treat for you listeners we recorded a special hustings hosted by the telegraph with members in Cheltenham this week. The host is my

good friend and Telegraph colleague Camilla Tomini. This is how it went.

Welcome to Chelavnam. Would you believe this is actually going to be the biggest hustings that have been hosted

so far in this contest?

I think there's 2,000 people here.

So thank you very much for making the effort.

Now obviously we're in a race course,

so I feel I have to use a few racing analogies.

We're not in the final furlong, are we?

We're kind of halfway through.

There's sort of still a steep

climb and then a kind of free will to the finish and I know the bookmakers are

saying that this is a one-horse race they're saying that Liz Truss I think is ahead by two to one members.

Maybe some of you in here are going to be disagreeing with that.

We've had Rishi Sunak, haven't we, slightly on his high horse, saying that he'd rather lose than compromise

on his own principles.

So again, we're going to challenge him on that.

But generally, this is all about you deciding if you are currently undecided who should be in the winner's enclosure

So I'm going to invite you to ask as punch your questions as you can as succinctly as you can If we can try and avoid any repetition that would be good.
