Well, to the dismay of many, I made it into work today, Case.

Yeah, it was a rough night for a lot of people, and I'm glad that you survived.

We were actually texting at one point.

I said, are you okay?

Because as soon as I heard Brownsburg, I thought of you.

Yeah, obviously the weather was a huge story last night for not just Brownsburg where I live,

but all across basically north,

the Zionsville, the Carmel's, et cetera, but a lot of people got a lot of damage yesterday.

And so first I just want to say, look, the weather coverage in this country has come so far

in just 10 or 15 years. And so to whether it was people on this radio

station or news gathering partners at Wish TV or any of the other television stations in central

Indiana, kudos to those people because they did a phenomenal job last night and a lot of lives

were probably saved that even may have not been

saved 10 or 15 years ago because of their ability to so quickly pinpoint how a storm is moving,

not just in direction, but in terms of velocity. And so, you know, for us last night, look,

we were very lucky because where we live in Brownsburg was not the

area that got the damage. And it was more north by the interstate. And obviously some really

bad stuff went on up there. You know, the warehouse got destroyed, et cetera. And again,

thank you to all the first responders who were out there last night helping people all across

central Indiana as well. But you think about how very quickly on the newscast that we were watching,

they're saying, well, it's high winds, it's blah, blah, blah. And then they start saying,

hey, this thing is picking up in its intensity to the point where you're getting tornadic type wins.
