I'm here with Kim Stewart.

Kim, say hello to all of us.

So good to meet back, Bob.

Great to have you all here. Yeah. And then we have a friend and a new

author with a new book. Tori, will you tell us a little bit about you and your book and all that?

Because this is going to be a page turner. Sure. So I first went into the foster care system when I was three and then I was

reunited with my mom, but I had to reenter the foster care system when I got older this time with

my sister and ended up moving throughout 10 more homes after I lived in a group home emancipated,

which means you leave the foster care system.

The day I turned 18, but when I left, I wanted what I had experienced.

I wanted to make something good out of it because it was really hard.

And I heard that that's what God could do, that God can make all things good. And if I said yes to him, I was like, okay, I think we can do this.

So I said yes to God. And I wrote this book, really to see if, you know, the worst parts of my

life really could be made good and if they could help other people, especially kids in foster care,

what they're going through. Yeah. So the book is called fostered. And so this would be,

for those of you that are listening, oftentimes you're in the middle or trying to put together a book.

You've got this idea. You want to do that. This is a perfect example of how you say this is the

elevator speech or the introduction to the book.

This is why people would read the back cover and they say, what's this about it?

Now, in the book, you go a lot deeper.
