0:40.8	so patient and loving and kind.
0:44.7	So my sobriety day to September 22nd 2009, I had come to alcohol synonymous with a few
0:52.1	years dry from alcohol, suffering terribly from untreated alcoholism.
0:59.5	I was about to lose my job, I was getting a divorce, I was about to lose my child, my
1:05.6	co-workers, my colleagues were afraid of me and that to me was shocking because I never
1:10.4	saw myself as a bully, I never saw myself as someone who suffered terribly towards others.
1:18.6	I always felt that I was the victim and other people were always tormenting me, right?
1:24.5	And so what a shock it was to hear that my colleagues were afraid of me and if I really
1:30.4	wanted to keep that job, I needed to go to the Employee Assistance Program and it was
1:35.4	there that I went and that's when the obsession to drink returned and because it had been
1:42.5	lifted through the 12 steps, it was just a different program and I can't treat alcoholism
1:49.8	anywhere else than an alcoholics synonymous in my experience.
1:53.6	So I was in a fellowship, the closest thing I got to was my sponsor's husband's big
1:59.6	book, she looked at me, saw me coming before I saw myself, handed me her husband's big
2:04.2	book and said, you might want to try some AA meetings and I tried one and there was only
