Well, I'm an our colleague, that's my main credential for being here.

I've been sober since 24th of July 1993.

I've saw as a few hundred people, I've talked to many hundreds, not thousands more.

Frankly, I think most of the people we sponsor wouldn't call us their sponsors, we don't

think of ourselves as their sponsors, but if I take input from someone, that's really

what I'm doing, I'm taking sponsorship from them, whether it's a live person, a piece

of literature, a tape, some of the best sponsorship I've had is from tapes.

You can't answer back, you can't argue, you just have to do what they say.

Now, if you're very, very brave, you can go on Facebook and you can join one of those,

lovely big book groups on Facebook, if you like an argument, go on to one of those and

ask the question, where does it say sponsorship in the big book?

It's not in the first hand, 64 pet and you can have the most almighty argument, if you've

got borderline personality disorder, you'll love it, you go in somewhere, ask an innocent

question, get your popcorn and just sit back while everyone argues about it.

I don't care whether it's in the big book, it helped me.
