You're the people that used to hear the term last call

you know non-alcoholics hardly ever hear that

well I get to share my experience on a step that I was also,

I've been resistant to all of this.

Isn't it odd, isn't it so odd that I resist the things that really light me up and make me happy and free?

I got sober in 1978, and I asked a man to sponsor me.

And I asked a man to sponsor me who I met because he brought a meeting twice a week

into the detox I was in.

I didn't know that he was a 5% or.

And when I say 5% or what I mean by that is I heard in a general service conference

in my early sobriety and trustee say that he believed that 5% of the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous did 95% of the service

and 12-step work.

And then he went on to say that 5%, as long as they remained a 5-percenter and continued

to do it, never drank again.
