My name is Kevin R.

An alcoholic.

And I'm grateful to be up here tonight with y'all and at the same time I'm glad it's the only time I'm going to be up here for the weekend and not just because I'm nervous, but this is the only suit I have. If I was up here again, I'd have to wear it again.

You know, and I'd always get nervous before I speak and so one of the things that I do is I think well how bad could it possibly be you know and I think about like the two times it got the worst it possibly couldn't both times I got heckled while I was speaking of the one one time was the adventure state prison in Alabama

when one of the inmates yelled out and called me a nerd.

And then the other time was in Ashford, Alabama,

when right in the middle of my story,

one of the guys sitting out there yells out, did you ever wake up with an ugly woman?

So I didn't quite know how to handle either one.

So I just went on. I didn't quite know how to handle either one.

But, you know, I'm not that good of a speaker and I'd like to tell a story.

And then I have evidence of that because like Bill Taylor,

I moved up here from Dothan, Alabama, South Eastern Alabama.

And while I was down there, I was going out to a meeting in Donaldsonville, Georgia.

I don't know if y'all familiar with the Seminole Group in southwest Georgia, but I was going out there and on the way there was about four of us in the car.
