Hi everybody, I'm Brandy,

and I'm an alcoholic.

Yeah, and if you see some steam and smoke coming out of my head, it's because I don't know what day it is, I don't know what city I'm in.

I think I just met my husband for the first time and I mean thank you Jeff for for

picking up the slack at the house but you know I have been on the road for the last three weeks, so I will say that I haven't been to my

home group in three weeks, and I'm just kind of like great, well, very grateful to be around

a bunch of alcoholics because I know we've all got the same

thing we're all trying to accomplish here and so I will just start out by

saying this my sobriety date is March 18, 2001. If I make

it till Wednesday, I'll have eight years of sobriety. And the only, I don't. I don't. Thank you out of courtesy, but I can't really take the thanks because it's like Jim talked about you know it's because of people like you who helped me along the way and it's because I am sponsored and I sponsor women and my husband and I are able to you know take our

garage and convert it into a big book workshop and you know just because I can get out of myself but when I'm in self it's a pretty pretty

scary place. There is nothing in my life today that isn't the result of what Alcoholics Anonymous has done for me.

The highs, the lows, the whatever.

I don't believe that any of us make mistakes. I believe that they are mistakes if we choose to continue to do those things over and over.
