My sobriety dates are 26 August 2003 so last Friday I celebrated 19 years of continuous sobriety.

They helped this fellowship and everybody in it and I certainly couldn't have done it on my own

so I had a fair helping from my higher power as well.

Yeah, I mean, I'm nice to see some people that I met at Leeds as well, so it's nice to see it

I'm not the only child, I felt like the only child in my family because I felt so different

but I've got two brothers and a sister that we couldn't have been more different

and I'm the only alcoholic in this family.

There's no alcoholism in the background, no history of it, none at all and my brothers and sisters

they like to drink but they're not alcoholics.

And we grew up in a household that wasn't bad but it wasn't great.

One thing about my family was that my mum and dad didn't love each other and to that part

they didn't like each other and so we were very much separated as a family
