0:34.6	but I'm so bloody nervous, I'm not sure it's a pleasure at the moment.
0:39.4	No, I am genuinely pleased to be here and thanks, Janice, for asking me.
0:46.8	My sobriety dates are 26 August 2003 so last Friday I celebrated 19 years of continuous sobriety.
0:57.2	They helped this fellowship and everybody in it and I certainly couldn't have done it on my own
1:02.6	so I had a fair helping from my higher power as well.
1:09.0	Yeah, I mean, I'm nice to see some people that I met at Leeds as well, so it's nice to see it
1:16.4	and thanks for my friends that have come to give me support, it means a lot.
1:21.9	I'm not the only child, I felt like the only child in my family because I felt so different
1:31.0	but I've got two brothers and a sister that we couldn't have been more different
1:37.3	and I'm the only alcoholic in this family.
1:40.8	There's no alcoholism in the background, no history of it, none at all and my brothers and sisters
1:49.5	they like to drink but they're not alcoholics.
1:54.6	And we grew up in a household that wasn't bad but it wasn't great.
2:01.9	One thing about my family was that my mum and dad didn't love each other and to that part
2:07.6	they didn't like each other and so we were very much separated as a family
2:14.2	and my dad will sit up one end of the room, my mum will sit up the other end of the room
