I so rarely get a chance to talk for this long and I am excited because the last few times I've gotten the chance to speak in AA

I've been asked to talk on my story and it's really tough to get to just get all the juicy stuff in in

with a few things I have a sobriety date. It's the 16th of February 2001.

I have a sponsor and her name is Marina M and she knows where I am today and I have a home group. I've recently relocated back to Cape Town and so my new home group here is the Green Door meeting on a Sunday.

Everyone is welcome and I would love to see some of you there if you can attend. So I like to, as a lot of you have heard me say before, I really like to start out with that stuff because I believe that it's easy enough to wander into AA and to take a seat here, but I think that over the years to stay here year after year through the ups and the downs,

takes some structure and some work.

And for me, that has meant being connected to things like a home group and a sponsor and having a sobriety date. I have to tell you guys like I had a drinking dream the other day. I haven't had a drink or a drug in a long time. And I had a dream the other day where I was about to drink,
