0:31.4	Thank you Dave, I am Wayne and I'm an alcoholic.
0:36.6	When I for quite a few years and when I chair the meeting I would say at the beginning that
0:44.6	this is the biggest privilege of my life and indeed I thought it was.
0:52.4	But in the last five or six years I've changed that and I've said it's the second biggest
0:59.7	privilege of my life, chairing a meeting of alcoholics anonymous.
1:04.4	The greatest privilege is to be with someone when they take the third step and say the
1:10.1	third step prayer and turn their lives over to the care of God.
1:16.8	People things happen to me when I did that and wonderful things happen to sponsor these
1:22.7	time after time.
1:27.3	When I took mine it was I came in in February the 20th and April the 7th was when I after
1:35.4	five or six times reading the 164 pages I came upon the third step prayer and the third
1:41.2	step and I took it then.
1:44.8	The great realization for me, the great gift for me was that promise that my entire outlook
1:51.2	and attitude toward life will change well with that third step prayer that promise was
1:59.1	given to me until I said that prayer and abandoned myself to God's care.
2:08.4	I thought that life was a series of random happenings, no particular meaning to them.
